SS Engineers & Consultants’ Milk Can Washer – Conveyor Model is a hygienic, high-throughput solution for continuous cleaning of 20 L / 40 L aluminum and stainless-steel milk cans across dairy collection and processing. Built in SS304/316 with sanitary welds and wash-down design, the system uses indexed can carriers to automate flow, cut manual handling, and prevent bottlenecks while effectively removing butterfat, protein films, whey solids, milkstone, and sugar residues.

A proven multi-zone sequence—pre-rinse → alkaline/detergent wash → final rinse → optional hot-rinse/steam sanitization at 82–85 °C—is paired with internal/external high-impact spray patterns, automatic can inversion, and targeted neck/bottom jetting. Closed-loop filtration and recirculation minimize water, chemical, and energy consumption while ensuring consistent, microbiologically safe results.

The conveyor platform features VFD-driven indexing, synchronized infeed/outfeed with upstream unloading and downstream filling lines, and post-wash drip/dwell zones for complete drainage. Utilities are stabilized via inline temperature control and automatic chemical dosing. PLC/SCADA automation with recipe management supports multiple can sizes (20/40 L, SS or aluminum), provides cycle/jam logging, and includes safety interlocks, easy-access doors, and hygienic sloped surfaces for full runoff.

As part of the SS Engineers ecosystem, the conveyor-model Milk Can Washer integrates seamlessly with our crate washers, conveyors, and packing lines to deliver end-to-end dairy hygiene. Options such as air-knife blow-off, heat-recovery, and conductivity/TDS-based dosing further reduce OPEX and turnaround time. The design complies with HACCP, FSMS, and GMP and is backed by SS Engineers’ application engineering, commissioning, and after-sales support.
